BY CAR
During summer, there are
strict limitations about cars. If you want and need to travel by
car, you can reach the most beautiful towns of Amalfi Coast driving
on the Statale Panoramica 163, which is about 50 km long, the so
called Amalfi Drive in English. You can drive through all coast
towns of the Amalfi Coast, such as Vietri sul Mare, Cetara, Atrani,
Amalfi, Maiori, Positano, Praiano and get to the Sorrento Coast
in the Bay of Naples. While travelling on it, you can admire the
wonderful panoramas, beautiful landscapes and stunning sea views.
Along the road you find very good Amalfi Coast restaurants where
to taste the delicious gastronomy of these places and of course
many hotels or B&B where to enjoy unforgettable holidays on the
Amalfi Coast.
You can hire a car, if you prefer to be independent,
but it is also possible to get a taxi or to use the publi bus transport
to travel to Amalfi.

From Salerno, it is possible to travel by taxi or by Sita buses
whose station is not far. Near the station of Salerno there is
the tourist port where you can easily get ferries to Amalfi and
Positano.

Sea routes are the best way to visit Amalfi Coast, Sorrento Coast
and Capri and Ischia isles.
